Wedding Photography | The Epic Romance Of A Home-Sweet-Home Wedding
That’s a long title, but that’s exactly what Destinee and Jeremy’s wedding was… EPIC (so epic that I already know I have waaaay too many images to share for this blog post and don’t want to cut stuff out). When she first started corresponding with me about her wedding day she said she wanted a beautiful, romantic, backyard wedding…with candle-lighting, lace, and warm light. Most of all, she said, she was just really happy to marry Jeremy, however it played out 🙂 These two (and their friends and families) are some of the sweetest people you will ever meet.
Her mom, Julie, deserves rock star status. SERIOUSLY! All of the planning and decorating was put together and pulled off meticulously by her. Her mom did such a wonderful job, better than some venues we have photographed in the past, it really looked like the professional work of an event planner.
Destinee said that she and Jeremy had known each other for about 3 years and dated for about a year and half. The impression she got from friends and family was that Jeremy would never settle down and marry.
He proved them all wrong when we surprised her and his family during Super Bowl weekend and got down on his knee. She said yes in her sweatpants and glasses and loved every minute of how perfectly simple it was. Destinee said she couldn’t have written it any better. I think their wedding day was a perfect representation of that…sweet, romantic and beautifully simple.
Jeremy surprised her when he popped the question, but Destinee surprised him during the ceremony when she sang a special song for him. The look on his face is classic 🙂Â
Look at that cake. I mean seriously…by far my most favorite wedding cake EVER.Â
Such a beautiful day, beautiful couple, and beautiful family and friends. Destinee and Jeremy, thank you for inviting us to photograph your romantic wedding 🙂
