Wedding Photography | Amanda and Nate, Auburn NY
One day, little Nathan brought his mom a little black ring box and asked “Will you marry Daddy?” He is a handsome little boy and I can’t imagine what that moment must have been like for Amanda. Spend a couple minutes around Amanda and Nate and you can just see how much love they have for each other and their little boy Nathan. So much so, that while most brides are busying themselves with last minute details the week of the wedding, Amanda was in Boston with little Nathan taking him to the Children’s Hospital and making a visit to the Aquarium.
The guys got ready at Nate’s mother’s house, but little Nathan came to where the girls were getting ready when he was done. One of the sweetest things I’ve ever seen was when Amanda came down the stairs and little Nathan ran up to her and said, “Mommy you look like a princess” Awwww!
Next, we headed to the Seward House Historic Museum in Auburn to take some bride and groom portraits. The Seward House was once owned by William Henry Seward and family. W. H. Seward was a NY state politician and served as Secretary of State to both president Lincoln and Johnson.
Their reception was held at the Hilton Garden Inn in Auburn. Its a relatively brand new space and the manager told me this was only the third wedding to be held here so far. The staff did a fabulous job so definitely check them out if you are looking for a reception venue.
Who doesn’t love a candy table!?! This was a huge hit all night long and many thanks to Sitting Pretty for putting together all of the table decorations, chair covers, and this awesome candy buffet.
The night ended with some surprise Zumba 🙂 It was a beautiful ceremony and a great celebration, Amanda and Nate, congratulations!
Many thanks to all the great vendors that helped make their day so beautiful:
