These Woods
I am trying to soak in as much of spring as I can because I know that in the blink of an eye it will be the dog-days of summer, and if I’m not carefully paying attention, snowing again. Spring on the Tug Hill is nothing short of spectacular, and I am convinced it is the only reason people endure the ridiculous winters here.
Things are going to get real busy here, real fast.
Today I am prepping the gear for tomorrow’s wedding. From there, the next several weeks months are jam-packed with weddings, portrait shoots, travel and no doubt lots and lots of editing.
And almost as if on cue, the trees have begun leafing out, signifying the busy season is now here.
“These woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.”
― Robert Frost
Tomorrow’s wedding was supposed to be thunderstorms and rain all day. I was putting out good weather vibes for the last 2 weeks…I think I went a little strong on the vibrations though because now it’s supposed to be near 90 degrees. For MAY.
Have a beautiful weekend friends and think of me sweating all over my Nikon gear ;o)
