Personal | Dog Watch
Every evening, as the sun goes down and dusk falls upon the swamp, my two dogs head to the window to begin their watch. Like clock-work.
What do they watch for?
The deer that make their move from the hardwoods across the road into my swamp and deep into the white pine & cheery wood forest for the evening.
In the winter, the deer like to hug along the edge, instead of moving like ghosts through the thick of it, making dog watch much easier on the pups. You’ll have to excuse the quality of the whitetail images…photographing through (dirty, ahem) window glass, at dusk, is no easy task.
Enjoy what remains of your weekend, friends.
