One Word | Plantation Party House Wedding
It was a non-typical May day, spring confusedly reached temperatures near 90. First the sun, then the thunderstorms, then the sun, and again more thunderstorms. You’d of thought it was New York in July. This made for quite an interesting wedding day.
I would love very much to tell you about C & J and their story, but due to the sensitivity of their careers, instead you will have to take my word for it how special these two are. Being in their presence and being able to observe them all day, you can’t help but sense innate strength and control ooze from them. And yet, there is this utter sweetness that is uncontainable from their beings. I think you will see what I mean from the pictures.
They were married at The Plantation Party House in the village of Spencerport, just outside of Rochester, after readying at a nearby hotel.
The next series of moments with her parents is exactly what I mean when I speak of the sincerity in sweetness they exude.
She had personalized handkerchiefs made for her parents.
“You can’t measure love with time, only timeless moments“
We had to try a couple different times to sneak in their portraits because of the passing thunderstorms, but in between dodging downpours and chasing the last of the peeking sunset, I think we made some really beautiful portraits with them.
“One word
Frees us of all the weight and pain of life:
That word is love.”
― Sophocles
C & J, thank you for who you both are and what you both do everyday. We were incredibly honored to have been able to witness such special moments of tender love on that unsettled May day, both between one another and with your parents, and the celebratory moments of genuine hard laughter with those that surrounded you on your wedding day.
What a perfect way to kick off the 2015 wedding season.
