I am in love with a Japanese Maple.
Its scarlet leaves visible from the kitchen window where I wash the dishes. When the setting sun illuminates the leaves, I get lost in a trance between the elegant curves of the branches and bole and the foliage that appears to be set on fire with each pass of the sun.
I could photograph this one tree for days, so pretty and filling me so full of inspiration.
“And this, our life, exempt from public haunt, finds tongues in trees, books in the running brooks, sermons in the stones, and good in everything” William Shakespeare
