More Scenes From River

So much to do this time of year, so hard to decide what upon.

Sit beside an old, fallen relic of a 100 year old white pine and call in turkeys? Go afield with the dogs and watch them pursue the wiley pheasant and lock up on a solid point at first scent? Head to the river and photograph those who practice repeated persistence and patience, perfecting their casts again and again hoping a King finally concedes and gives a worthy fight? Maybe climb into a quiet blind in the hemlock swamp in pursuit of venison for the freezer? Or take the camera out to the national wildlife refuge and document the waterfowl migration, million wing beats strong??

So many things to do and such a seemingly short window to do it in. I feel the pull for a million different directions right now.

Fall.
