Auld Lang Syne
We shed the old to begin anew. But first, we must enter the dormancy.
I don’t have any resolutions. Except maybe resolve to stop cussing, gah.
This has been a busy, exhausting year and I would be lying if I didn’t admit I am glad to see it come to a close. The last couple weeks alone have been a whirlwind. But now we enter the quieting. I am looking forward to spending the winter sorting through 2018s photo archives and creating my kids’ photo album for the year. I am looking forward to weddings in 2019, my sister’s included. I am looking forward to growth in my gardens, as I feel like I finally have the lay of the land and know how to read my particular spread and all her intricacies.
And I am looking forward to all the experiences I know that are in store for my children this coming year and watching their personalities continue to blossom.
